This bag can stay in school for the half-term, and we will send it home during the school holidays for it to be washed. Children should wear a yellow top, black bottoms and trainers. Long hair should be tied back on PE days and earrings should be removed.

We will provide a healthy snack each day at a cost of £1.50 per week. This can be paid weekly (on a Monday, in a labelled envelope, in their book bag) or half-termly / termly.

Autumn Term

Weekly - £1.50

1st half-term £11 (up until October half term)

2nd half-term £11 (up until the Christmas holidays)

Reading

Every Tuesday, children will take part in group reading sessions in school. To support their learning, please ensure your child brings both their reading book and reading diary to school on this day.

Children will also bring home a reading book, which may be different from the one used in school. Some of these books are longer, chapter-style texts, and your child may not finish them within a week. They are welcome to keep the book for longer so they can enjoy reading it at their own pace and complete it fully.

We encourage you to discuss the book with your child as they read. You might ask questions about the events in the story, the characters, and what your child might do if they were in the story themselves. These conversations help deepen understanding and make reading even more enjoyable.

Dojo

If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher via dojo. We will also share their learning experiences with you so look out for updates of what we have been doing in class via 'Classroom Stories'. Please remember to report any absences directly to the school office.

Diolch yn Fawr for your continued support.
