Literacy

There is a variety of literacy tasks for you this week. We have found comprehension tasks, but remember you do not have to complete all of them you can choose the ones that interest you the most. Below is a link entitled Daily Book Club. This is a fantastic challenge linked to Bitesize. 

Using the book The Parent Agency you will learn how to summarise a character and share your opinion.

This lesson includes:

  • two videos of the author of the book, David Baddiel, reading extracts from The Parent Agency

  • three activities

 

Finally there is a lesson on how to use metaphors and similes correctly. We have worked really hard on this in class so it will be fantastic for a revision lesson.
