24th November 2015

Discussed Children In Need - £642.90 raised.  All thought that the day went well and the cake sale was a great success.

Talked about anti-bullying week, worry boxes were handed out to each class.  Confirmed about wearing an item of blue on Friday.

No buddy bench has been found, deadline of a week has been given by the Chair Persons.

Letter from Mrs Day about the money for the mirrors read out.  It has been accepted.

 

Items raised:

Hand dryer in the girls toilets not working properly.

Hand dryer is too close to the door in the men's toilets.

Fruit on tuck trolley has run out by the end of the week.

Super Spy was spoken about and will start tomorrow!

10th November 2015

Children In Need meeting:-

  • Cake sale on Friday at break-times. 20p per cake. Set up cake sale in yard or if raining in the new hall.  All School Council members to help with the sale.
  • Children to dress up as their superhero or hero for a donation of £1.
  • Competitions in classrooms on the day.

3rd November 2015

Minutes read and agreed from last meeting.

Feedback on the mosaic competition and winner has been informed.

Still researching a buddy bench.

School Council have typed a letter to PTFA to ask for money for mirrors in the toilet and it has been sent to Mrs Day.

Talked about anti bullying week, we will be holding it the week after 15th November as there is a puppet show on Monday.

13th October 2015

Went through minutes of last meeting and all agreed. Mrs Martin explained about the mosaic competition and that School Council will decide on the winning design.

Feedback from Reception children was good and that it was working. 2 children to swap their days as they had lunchtime clubs.

Lunchtime rota isn't working so a new one will be put together.

School Council to look into a 'Buddy Bench', feedback by next meeting.

Letter to be sent to PTFA about the mirrors in the toilets.

Elected members of the School Council met for the first time.  Chairpersons and Secretaries were elected.  School Council collected the slips from the ideas box:-

  • More toilet paper
  • Mirrors in toilet

Anti bullying ideas were discussed:-

  • Making posters
  • Wear an item of blue on Friday
  • Watch Year 6 anti bullying videos

Reception Buddy's were talked about and a rota put together so that the reception children knew who to go to if they were on their own or felt unsettled.
