Parent Governor Ballot Election Forms
6.10.17 - Get ready to vote for your new Parent Governors when your child brings home the ballot paper today. If you have more than 1 child in school, the eldest sibling will have the form.

Welcome Honey the Guide Dog and Councillor Hinchey
Today, we met Honey the Guide Dog who is 2 years old and on her last 2 weeks of training before she goes to live with and support a blind lady. Good luck Honey!

Our school has entered the Royal Mail's Christmas Stamp Design Competition.

Another brilliant PTFA Film Night 🎥
Thank you to all the PTFA for another brilliant event for the children and the support of the parents and staff. Big thanks to Sam's Mum in Year 3 and Mrs Thomas (Alenco) for the hot dog donations. Roll on the Christmas Faye's on Saturday 10th December to make more memories and raise valuable funds for school.

On Thursday 10th November, Bethan Rees (athlete) and Charlotte Wingfield, Rio 2016 Olympian who work at Nike Cardiff, will be inspiring our budding athletes in a whole school assembly.
There will also be an opportunity for Year 3 and 4 to sprint train like an Olympian! Trainers at the ready!
We hope all the children enjoyed the Halloween Disco tonight and we thank everyone who helped support the PTFA. If you think you could help in either tuck hub on a Friday, or at any event please speak to one of the PTFA team, or take a look at the upcoming events to decide.

Cardiff Food Bank
We have had an assembly by the Cardiff Food Bank to let the children know about the service that the Food Bank provides.
The school council and class 1D need your kind donations of as much food as possible by Wednesday 19th October in readiness for 1D's assembly on Thursday 20th October.
The suggested donations include: Tinned tomatoes, UHT/Tinned custard, tinned vegetables or tinned potatoes.

Come along to the School Book Fair
The children will have an opportunity to view the books on sale during the week of
Monday 10th October until Friday 14th October.
The Fair will be open in the Old Hall after school on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 3.30 – 4.00pm, and on Wednesday and Thursday until 4.30pm.
